Ricky Chris Kamrad

RICKY CHRIS KAMRAD
    Ricky C. Kamrad, 62, of Unionville passed away unexpectedly Thursday, October 26, 2023 in his home.  He was born October 11, 1961 in Caro to Steven C. and Grace Ellen (Kanaby) Kamrad, Jr.     
    Ricky graduated from Cass City High School.  He worked in the Detroit area as a truck driver for a concrete company for over twenty years.  Ricky moved back home and was employed by Rock Products of Caro for a while.  He then started helping his brothers with work on the family farm.  When Ricky wasn’t busy working, he loved fishing for walleye and perch.  He also enjoyed deer hunting.      
    Ricky is survived by his son, Joshua (Debra) Kamrad of Kingston; daughter, Jessica Kamrad of Juneau, AK; grandchildren:  Haley, Cody, Joshua, Ava, Apollo, Amara; great grandchild, Kinsley; his mother, Grace Kamrad of Gagetown; siblings:  Tina (Kirk) Avery, Tom (Tina) Kamrad, Steven (Amy) Kamrad, Brad (Shawna) Kamrad; many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by a brother, Craig Kamrad; his father, Steven Kamrad Jr., grandparents, Steven and Margaret Kamrad.  
    Memorial service held 12 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2023 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City.  Memorials may be made to Joshua Kamrad to be used at the family’s discretion.
