ROBERTA OLIVE SMITH

     Roberta O. Smith, 82, of Cass City died peacefully Monday, February 3, 2025 in Medilodge of Cass City. She was born on August 12, 1942 in Detroit to Robert and Lucille (Petersmark) Edwards.

      Roberta graduated from Farmington High School. She worked as an operator for “Ma Bell” until being hired by AAA Insurance. During her employment of over thirty years, she held various positions including working in the travel department, sales, and as a branch manager. Roberta was involved in the Bayview Mackinaw Race for several years. She enjoyed photography and helping other people. 

      Roberta is survived by her children: Diane (Augustine) Bokano of Cass City; Norman (Lisa) Brugman, Jr. of Lithia Springs, GA. 

      A celebration of Roberta’s life will be held at a later date.
