68, of Caro, formerly of Kingston died Sunday, October 9, 2022 in Select Specialty Hospital, Saginaw. She was born September 5, 1953 in Missouri. Sharon married Gordon Raymond Shapter on April 6, 1985 in Lapeer County. He died June 10, 2011.
Sharon enjoyed playing bingo and trying her luck in the Soaring Eagle Casino. Her favorite games that she played on her computer where Pojo and Solitaire. She was fond of listening to Elvis songs and collecting frogs. Sharon was also skilled at crocheting and cooking. Above all, she loved her family the most.
Sharon is survived by her children: William (Jasmine Coeur) and Jennifer Wright of Mayville; Jason (Stephanie) Shapter of Otter Lake; Shannon Shapter of Lapeer County; grandchildren: Cyrena, Bryan, Jaxson, Zackary (Lexi), Cathryn, Leah, Jazmyn, Jordin, Skyla, Brandon, Courtney; many other grandchildren; great grandchildren: Hunter, Bella, Jaaxin, Sumara; stepfather, Wayne Hodge of New Mexico; brother, Jeff (Jean) Hodge of Tallahassee, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon; mother, Alma Hodge; sister, Patricia Hodge.
Funeral service held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 15, 2022 in Kranz Funeral Home, Kingston with Rev. Gerald Schriber officiating. Interment will be in Hunters Creek Cemetery, Lapeer.
