Donald Songerath Jr

DONALD F. SONGERATH, JR., 69, of Cass City, died unexpectedly following a lingering illness, Sunday, October 20, 2013 in his home. He was born August 31, 1944 in Goodrich to Donald and Mildred (Morse) Songerath, Sr.

Donald loved women, wine, drinking, fishing and was loved by his siblings as the wild brother.

Donald is survived by his children: Jessica, Jodie and Donald Songerath III; father, Donald Songerath, Sr.; brothers: Richard (Susan) Songerath of Auburn Hills, William (Jeanette) Miller of Gagetown; sisters: Loretta (James) Whittaker of Cass City, Lois Sholts of Florida, June Nazario of Cass City; many nieces and nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother; son, Ricky Songerath; sisters: Joan Miller, Naidene Miller.

Funeral service held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2013 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Richard Songerath officiating. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and stories with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
