LAURA JUNE SPENCER,
69, of Cass City died following a lengthy illness Friday, April 5, 2019 in Covenant Healthcare Harrison Campus, Saginaw. She was born March 11, 1950 in Cass City to C. Wayne and June (Stevens) Spencer.
Laura attended Cass City High School. She worked for Snover Stamping for over sixteen years. Laura left work to attend to the health care of her father and later, for her mother. She enjoyed making beautiful ceramic pieces and painting them. Laura always looked forward to a casino trip. She loved to shop and would travel anywhere to buy a pie, especially berry and lemon merengue.
Laura is survived by her sister, Judy Peters of Allegan; brother, Clinton (Diana) Spencer of Bay Port; sister-in-law, Dorothy Spencer of Cass City; nieces and nephews: Greg (Jodi) Peters of Allegan, Paula (Rick) Bolton of Cass City, Sheila (Ed) Yeo of Roscommon, Shannon (Jimmy) Hollinshead of Bay Port, Cheyann (Mike) Parks of Deford, Casey (Michael) Jackson of Caseville. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Raymond Spencer; brother-in-law, Roger Peters; nephew, Kirk Peters.
Funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m., Monday, April 8, 2019 in Novesta Church of Christ, Cass City with Brad Speirs officiating. Interment will be in Novesta Township Cemetery.
