LYN SUE STADLER
63, of Caro, died unexpectedly Sunday, March 28, 2021 in Covenant Medical Center Cooper Campus, Saginaw. She was born August 22, 1957 in Pontiac to Earl and Alice (Spencer) Myers. She married Delbert Ray Stadler May 28, 1977 in Pontiac. They enjoyed thirty-five years together until he died on July 13, 2012.
Lyn was a firefighter and honored to be one of three women that served with the Station 3 Department in Auburn Hills. She loved her time spent with the fire department and shared many memories of her experiences. Lyn was an avid NASCAR and Red Wings hockey fan. She enjoyed the anticipation and excitement of scratch off tickets. Lyn cherished her family above all else.
Lyn is survived by her mother, Alice Myers of Cadillac; children: Ellen (Bobby) Wyatt of Caro; Earl (Roxanne) Stadler of Kingston; Pamela Pelletier of VA; Charles (Christina) Stadler of Flint; siblings: Earl Myers of Cadillac; JD (Kathy) Myers of Deford; Lavohla (Bruce) Kaake of TN; Faye (Calvin) LeBlanc of Kingston; Anna Ney of Pontiac; Tina Myers of Flint; twenty four grandchildren with special acknowledgement to Josselyn (Jon), Damien, Colton and Sebastian; eight great grandchildren, special acknowledgment to Annabelle; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; husband; sons: Delbert Stadler Jr; Frank Stadler; grandson, “Big” Ben; sister, Nan Myers; brothers-in-law: Mark Ney, Dave Stingley, Pat Stadler; sisters-in-law: Darlene Myers, Renee Myers, Robyn Myers; nephew, John Wayne Myers.
Graveside service held 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2021 in Lakeview Cemetery, Clarkston. Memorials may be made to Kranz Funeral Home for the benefit of the family. Friends may share memories, prayers and photos with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
