Riches Thomas

Our hearts are broken, our arms are empty, and yet we have a spirit of thanksgiving, even though we don’t yet know the will of God. Our daughters, Riches Thomas and Treasure Thomas were born on November 25, 2002 at Covenant Harrison Hospital in Saginaw, MI. Riches lived approximately 2 hours and Treasure lived approximately 4 hours as we held them in our arms. As Riches and Treasure’s blessed and thankful parents, Lynnae (Babich) Thomas and Dr. James Thomas, we invite family and friends to visit with us and share our sorrow from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday December 1, 2002 at Kranz Funeral Home in Cass City.

Riches and Treasure will also be missed by their loving and giving grandparents: Lynn and Bernard Babich of Deford, and Joan and Tim Thomas of Deckerville; great grandparents: Dorothy Taylor of Deford, Fern Babich of Deford, and Marie Thomas of Vero Beach, FL; aunts and uncles: Tim (Debbie) Babich, Tim (Melody) Thomas, Suzie (Dan) Potter, John (Sue) Thomas, Tammy (Ray) Sanford, Cathy Thomas, David Thomas, and Benjamin Thomas; many great aunts, great uncles, and cousins. Riches and Treasure were preceded in death by five great grandparents.

Funeral services held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, December 1, 2002 at Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City, with Rev. David Mercer of Deford Community Church officiating. Interment is in Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City. Memorials may be made to Deford Community Church.
