Christina Louise "Tina" Tilley (Gunckel)

March 22, 1981 — December 4, 2021

Christina "Tina" Louise (Gunckel) Tilley,
age 40 of Gagetown, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 4, 2021. Christina was born in Rogers City on March 22, 1981 to George and Judy Gunckel. She was the youngest of four children.

Christina attended elementary school in Rudyard and then later moved to Weidman, where she attended Weidman Elementary and later graduating from Chippewa Hills High School in 1999. During Christina's senior year she enjoyed learning the Spanish language and had many friends whom she has kept in touch with over the years. Christina had a lifelong “bestie”, Amanda Taylor (Voss). Christina and her bestie formed a prayer group/Bible study where they would meet before the start of school each day. Amanda and Christina formed their special bond back in early elementary and to this day remains steadfast. Christina was an active member of the Weidman Church of the Nazarene where she was active in youth and outreach ministries. Christina loved to sing in church, as well as, share her beautiful voice with her family and friends.

Christina married Mark Tilley and settled in Gagetown with their four children. She was employed by Walmart in Caro where she worked as an Optician. Christina loved to spend any spare time she had restoring vintage camper trailers, reading, taking care of her chickens. She enjoyed life with her family and spending time with her friends.

Christina is survived by her husband, Mark and their beautiful children whom she lived her life for: Jessica, James, Maria, and Jonathan; her parents, George and Judy Gunckel; brother, John Gunckel; sister, Michelle Gunckel; nephews: Logan (Chloe) Gunckel, Michael Gunckel, Jaxon Gunckel; nieces: Allison Tilley, Melissa O’Leary, Casey O'Leary; brother and sister In-law, Michael and Tina Tilley; mother-in-law, Carol Tilley. Christina is preceded in death by her sister, Lisa Gunckel; grandparents: John and Marie Gunckel; James and Juanita Jackson; mother and father -in-law, Sharon and George Tilley; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
