101, of Cass City died peacefully Wednesday morning January 13, 2021 in Heritage Hills Assisted Living of Caro. He was born March 23, 1919 in Croton-On-Hudson, NY. Nathaniel married Marjory Ella Royce on September 15, 1940 in Cazenovia, NY. She died October 30, 1989. He married Florence Karr on December 27, 1992. She died March 28, 2020.
Nathaniel graduated from Utica College of New York with a degree in management. He was employed as plant supervisor by General Cable of Cass City. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing golf and singing with the Tom Thumb Singers. Nathaniel was an active member of First Presbyterian Church of Cass City where he sang with the choir. He also served as a trustee for the Rawson Memorial Library.
Nathaniel is survived by his children: Ned (Nina) Tuttle of Avon Park, FL; Nancy Herbst of Fairview, NC; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marjory Tuttle; son-in-law, Roy Herbst.
