CLINTON GLEN WARNER
68, of Deford, died Monday, May 24, 2021 in his home. He was born December 23, 1952, in Caro Community Hospital to Duane and Mary Jane (McInally) Warner. He married Janice Marie Obertein November 10, 1978 in Caro.
Clinton graduated from Cass City High School in 1971. He worked construction for a couple of years and was later employed by GM in the Saginaw Steering Gear Plant. Clinton retired after 30 years in 2006. At age fifteen, he went on a deer hunting trip with his dad. During this hunt Clinton bagged his first deer, an eight-point buck. Clinton proudly arranged to have this trophy mounted. His passion for deer hunting always remained but he also enjoyed duck hunting and fishing.
Clinton is survived by his wife, Janice; mother, Mary Jane Warner of Deford; brother, Jeffery Warner of Deford; niece, Amanda Wildling of Deford; nephew, Tyler (Katie) Warner of Deford; great-nephew, Jayce Hill of Deford, Brody Warner of Deford; niece, Lilly Anne Warner of Deford; step-sons: Randy (Sunny) Summer of Akron, John (Connie) Summer of Deford; step-grandchildren: Anthony Summer, Shawn Summer, Caden Summer. He is preceded in death by his father; step-son, Lee Summer; sister-in-law, Tanya Warner; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Margaret Obertein.
Funeral service held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 2021 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Pastor Christian Wright of First Baptist Church of Cass City officiating. Interment in Novesta Township
