RONALD LEE WEITZEL, JR.,
74, of Cass City, died following a lengthy illness Sunday February 24, 2020 in his home. He was born April 11, 1945 in Bay City. He was adopted and raised by his grandmother, Alvina Weitzel.
Ron worked at Zimba Dairy Farm, as a bricklayer for Hirschfeld and also for Michigan Sugar. He enjoyed outdoor activities including: fishing, hunting and camping. Ron was a talented woodworker. He especially enjoyed a good party.
Ron survived by his children: Ronald Weitzel III of Cass City; Gregory (Tina) Chrzan of Cass City; Jeff (Kemberelyn) Chrzan of Killeen, TX; David (Angie) Chrzan of Russell Springs, KY; Susan (James) Cameron of Rhodes, MI; nine grandchildren: Tiffany, Johnathan, Brandon, Elizabeth, Brent, Jennifer, Hailey, James Jr., Desirae, Harley, Kelly, Tisha, Teesha; one great-grandson, Lukas.
