WILLIAM SCOTT CONRAD

     William S. Conrad, 65, of Cass City, died unexpectedly Friday, August 8, 2025 in his home. He was born June 17, 1960 in Opa Locka, FL to William Gail and Billie June (Ashley) Conrad. He married Kelly Marie Dillon on October 8, 2005. They were married for twenty years, but they were together for thirty-five years.

     Scott loved trucking and his career as an over-the-road truck driver. He drove for thirty years, until he was no longer able to due to health issues. Scott was an avid fan of the Detroit Lions and the Miami Dolphins. He enjoyed golfing, watching NASCAR, and playing Texas Hold ‘Em. Scott was fond of mowing his lawn and making certain it looked good. Spending time with his wife, friends, and family is what he cherished the most.

     Scott is survived by his wife, Kelly of Cass City; his son, Andrew Conrad of Sullivan, MO; step-children:  Stacey ( Nick) Peacock of Lee’s Summit, MO; Keith (Brandy) Graham of Cabot, AK; Scott (Laura) Miller of Marshfield, MO; his grandchildren: Zachary Peacock, Ethan Peacock, Joseph Evans, Lauren Evans, Anna Havens, Jessica Vance; his mother-in-law, Reva Dillon; brother-in-law, Pat (Cheryl) Dillon; sisters-in-law: Kim (Henry) Buehrly, Kerry (George) Baumgardener, Becky (Joe) O’Harris; many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marina Whisenet; sister-in-law, Lori Gruber; his favorite pets: Cheyenne, Cleo, and Tucker.

     A memorial celebration will be held at a later date. Memorials may be considered to Kelly Conrad to be used at the family’s discretion.
