June 22, 1987 — August 13, 2017

SCOTT ROBERT WOIDAN
Scott R. Woidan, 30, of Gagetown, formerly of Cass City, died Sunday, August 13, 2017 in Elmwood Township due to injuries sustained from an ATV accident. He was born June 22, 1987 in Saginaw to Scott Frank and Dawn (Crosby) Woidan.
Scott graduated from Cass City High School in 2006. He moved to Phoenix, AZ to attend the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute and earned his motorcycle mechanics license before moving back home. Scott worked for Kan Rock Tire of Caro as a manager and later for Auto Zone in Caro. His passion for racing was frequently displayed at the Lucky Thumb Racetrack in Deford where he captured the audience with his need for speed. Scott shared his love for riding on his Yamaha Banshee with his daughter, Olyvia. He frequently played Xbox with his daughter, their favorite was Mario Cart. The two of them retained the same kindred spirit for adrenaline and action. The Flash and Batman were his favorite superheroes. He took great pride in teaching his nieces and nephews how to ride the quad and would jump at the opportunity to spend a day with others, enjoying the outdoors from the seat of his Banshee. Scott enjoyed sitting by the campfire, chatting with family, friends or anyone that would listen for that matter. He always had a story to tell and his sense of humor would never fail to make the conversation memorable. His smile would brighten the room and his sarcasm could make a stranger feel like they’ve known each other for years! Scott was an amazing father, committed fiancé, cherished son, treasured brother, fun loving uncle, and dear friend to so many.
Scott is survived by his daughter, Olyvia Sue; his fiancé, Christine Tate of Gagetown; his parents, Scott and Dawn Woidan of Deford; sisters: Heather (Jeremy) Forrest of Dorr, Tanya (Cory) Kulinski of Cass City; nieces and nephews: Taylor, Nick, Makena, Brayden, Madison, Parker; aunts and uncles: Shelly “Aunt Bobbi” (Dave) Bartnik, Renee Crosby, John Crosby, Ron Stolzman; grandparents: John (Dixie) Crosby, Jacqueline Roeske; cousins Matt, Mandi, and Rachel Bartnik; Jake, Jessica, and Julia Skinner; Josh and Jeremy Crosby.
